The Logemanns Visit!

The Logemanns Visit!

Sarah Logemann, my very best good friend from middle and high school (and twenties and thirties and onwards), came to visit Stephane and I in Charleston with her awesome husband Adam and their three super fun and frisky children Laurel, Addison, and Henry. I haven’t seen Sarah and Adam in probably ten years! Their daughter Laurel was the first baby I ever held! We go way back so needless to say I am so excited to see them again and so happy that they made the trip to come see us (no easy task with three kiddos in tow).

We spent the day exploring the Children’s Museum – painting, puppet show, pirate ship, water world, science room, plastic shopping center (?), etc. FUN!

The parents get some alone time 🙂

Afterwards we took everyone to check out Free Range. It took two dinghy trips but we got everyone safely on board for lunch, a nap, dancing, and hide-and-go-seek. Good times were had by all.

Too much fun and food and dancing for Henry – nap time in the v-berth.

Stephane takes the gang on a dinghy ride to look for dolphins. No dolphins discovered but everyone comes back pretty wet 🙂

You can’t tell from this picture but I am wearing the t-shirt that Sarah had made for Stephane and I – we have official CREW SHIRTS now! The front reads Free Range and the back is a photo of our boat that she pulled off of Facebook – is she amazing or what? Close-up photos of our new, awesome crew shirts to follow…

We grab an early dinner in town and The Logemanns drop us off and head on their three-hour drive home. Stephane and i are so blessed to have such amazing people in our lives. What a day.
