We landed in Colorado last week and hit the ground running. Literally and figuratively.
Literally: a long, muddy hike in “Dry” Creek (it’s been super rainy here lately), multiple runs on my favorite local trail system, Buzzard Gulch.
Family hike at Dry CreekHappy, muddy girls.
BUZZARD GULCH!
Figuratively: spending hours updating resumes, writing cover letters, and searching for jobs. Stephane: chopping wood, fixing Dan’s weed whacker, and, as I type, he’s outside trying to fix D & K’s pop-up camper so they can enjoy the great outdoors this weekend. It’s SO NICE to be accomplishing things again; to relax at the end of the day with a glass of wine knowing you earned those sips of fruity cheer. Big difference.
The smile says it all. He’s one happy guy, digging into projects (thank you Dan and Karen for providing them 🙂
Myra following Melisa. Myra is super stoked to be on the trails again, as am I.
